Tax Accountant Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $60,000 - $105,000 per year Job Details Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 2–5 years of recent public accounting experience with a focus on tax preparation and compliance. Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, S-corporation, fiduciary, and/or nonprofit tax returns. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines during peak tax seasons. Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. CPA license or CPA-track candidates preferred but not required.
