- # Formation OperatorApply: Santa Fe Springs - Clark St., CA, USA: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R10080It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***Position Overview** Formation Operator assures correct acid level and conduct a visual inspection for cosmetic defects. **Areas of Focus** Formation Operator complies with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE. Additionally, Formation Operator understands & practices the Quality policy day to day. **Responsibilities** **Level I** • Place caps onto batteries according to battery type • Perform the proper function of stacking on / off from conveyors • Identify all defects prior to filling with acid (1st fill) • Analyze the correct direction of the batteries during off bearing. (Understand correct polarity of batteries) • Identify the correct cable (jumpers) to be placed on specific types of batteries • Demonstrate proper use of table lift during off bearing • Ensure correct marking on the battery rack to aid Circuit Tender • Display correct use of PPE • Perform general housekeeping • Meets all quality requirements and standards • Meets all production requirements **Basic Qualifications** • High school diploma or equivalent • 6 months – 1-year machine operator experience • Stand-up Lift / Forklift Certification • Basic computer skills • Read and understand basic English • Perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) • Experience in an assembly/production environmentSalary Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hrOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location*if you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*
