Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologists (General and Cardiac)

This role involves providing coverage in various settings, including hospital operating rooms, the endoscopy unit, the cardiac lab, and the ambulatory surgery center.

Opportunity Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time, 2100 hours annually
• Case Types: Vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and cardiac cases
• Pediatrics: Minimal involvement, primarily at the ambulatory surgery center
• Call Schedule:
  • 1 weekend per month
  • 3 in-house overnight calls every 2 months
  • 4 second calls every 2 months

Requirements:

• New York State licensure and DEA registration are mandatory
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology is required

Compensation Package:

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Base Compensation: $575,000 for call-taking positions
• Additional Stipend: $25,000 for cardiac anesthesia
• The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift pay, or other cash compensation applicable to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with state regulations and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
• Sign-On Bonus: $125,000
• Retention Stipend: Available for the first two years
• Premium Pay: Available for excess call
• Benefits: Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance
• Malpractice Insurance: Paid coverage, including post-employment tail coverage
• CME: Time off and an annual expense allowance of $4,500
• Paid Time Off: 10 weeks away from practice
• Retirement Savings: Program with employer matching
