RN - NICU Profession: RN Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience Experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or ventilation Experience with central lines Stabilization experience and attending deliveries Developmental care experience Description:General Comments: Please read carefully.Unit Highlights:The unit has a total of 6 beds.Patient ratios are estimated at 3:1.We will staff with a minimum of 2 NICU RNs per shift.There will be 24/7 in-house coverage from a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.24/7 in-house OB hospitalist and anesthesiologist will be available.Type of equipment includes GE bedside monitors, GE beds (Giraffe and Panda warmers), Natus Neoblue phototherapy lights, Neomed and Medfusion feeding/medication pumps.Documentation system utilized on the unit is Meditech and CPNS.Scheduling requires 3 12-hour shifts per week.Floating may occur to the newborn nursery as needed.Attendance policies will be followed as per company guidelines.The unit is equipped with the newest and top-of-the-line equipment.We are a cohesive group of nurses who value skill and teamwork.Body art should be covered whenever possible.Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.Nail policy requires clean and healthy nails with no nail polish or artificial enhancements.Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors; hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer.Tattoos that cannot be covered will be addressed individually.No perfumes or lotions are allowed within the unit.Consider joining our team in this new service line opening soon. #J-18808-Ljbffr
