This role works closely with customers and internal teams to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolution of account discrepancies. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service.Duties/Responsibilities:Working closely with the Accounting Coordinator to complete all allocated tasksMaintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as neededMonitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balancesProcess and accurately apply customer payments and maintain payment recordsAssist with billing inquiries and resolving account discrepanciesUpdate customer accounts and maintain accurate customer recordsCommunicate with customers regarding account balances and payment statusPerforms other related duties as assignedThe absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position.Education & SkillsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience requiredPrevious experience in accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, administrative support, or customer service preferredProficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and maintain confidentiality of financial informationPhysical, Mental, and Behavioral Requirements:The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Regularly and safely lifts, carries, and handles supplies and equipment weighing at least 20 poundsMust be able to sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to repeat the same movementsAbility to speak clearly and effectively with customers, coworkers, and business partnersThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work that is expected to be performed.
