Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide coordinated care in a home health environment. The clinician will plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily living skills across the lifespan.

Minimum Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license for Arizona required to start the assignment.
Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings required. Experience providing care in home health or home care environments is preferred.
Current CPR certification required.
Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required. Ability to travel locally for patient visits required.
Ability to perform physical demands of the role including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged standing and walking, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
Demonstrated competence in clinical assessment, development and documentation of Plan of Care (POC), progress notes, and communication with interdisciplinary teams and physicians.
Familiarity with fabrication and maintenance of adaptive equipment and hand splints, and basic troubleshooting and maintenance of therapy equipment preferred.
