Product Manager - Thin Film Deposition SystemsKurt J. Lesker Company is looking for a Product Manager - Thin Film Deposition Systems that will drive the success of a defined product line by combining technical understanding, market insight, and strategic execution. This role sits within our Process Equipment Division and leads product marketing and development initiatives by identifying market opportunities, shaping competitive positioning, and delivering go-to-market plans. The Product Manager will partner closely with sales to provide training, tools, and support that increase effectiveness, while also owning product roadmaps, budgets, and performance analysis. The position plays a key role in strategic planning, contract management, and continuous growth of both existing and new product offerings.Type of Employment: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Jefferson Hills, PADivision/Department: Process Equipment Division / Product ManagementReports to: Business Segment ManagerResponsibilities:Build strong technical and application knowledge of the product line to identify market opportunities and clearly communicate value to both internal teams and customersMaintain a deep understanding of current and emerging markets, including competitive landscape, positioning, and growth opportunities; keep insights documented and updated annuallyDevelop and execute marketing plans across digital, print, and in-person channels to drive awareness and demandLead product development planning—enhancing existing products and introducing new offerings with clear business cases (pricing, cost, revenue, and timelines)Support and enable sales teams through training, tools, and insights; analyze regional performance to identify growth opportunitiesDrive contract development and management activitiesOwn annual revenue, profit, and expense budgets for the product line.Contribute to divisional strategic planning effortsPerform additional responsibilities as neededQualifications:Required:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or equivalent working experience3-5 years of relevant experienceStrong technical knowledgeExcellent written and verbal English language skillsAbility to travel domestically and internationallyPreferred:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, PhysicsPrior experience or training in sales/product management5+ years prior vacuum industry experienceProficient with MS OfficeWhy Join Us?
