Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living skills, social skills, and communication development

- Support clients in managing challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques

- Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and progress

- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times

- Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay current on best practices and protocols

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in behavioral health or related field preferred

- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing needs

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Behavior Technician Certification (if not already certified)

Requirements

The applicant must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical. A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License is required. DHS FBI Fingerprint, PA Childline, and PA Criminal clearance are required.

Hours are primarily second shift with weekends and holidays. Flexibility is required.

High School Diploma starts at $32,500/year

Associate's degree starts at $$34,000/year

Bachelor's degree starts at $36,000/year
