Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position in Urbana, IL, requiring CVOR experience, Epic proficiency, and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based OR setting, specifically the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR)
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts), with one day off TBD
• 40 hours per week
• On-call rotation required, including weekends and holidays
• May float to General OR
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
• CVOR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum education: ASN (BSN preferred)

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include preparing the OR suite, performing patient assessments and timeouts, positioning and prepping patients, supporting the surgical team intraoperatively, and providing handoff to the receiving RN post-procedure
• Candidate interviews are conducted by the facility's hiring leader
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO is not to exceed 7 days for the duration of the 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
