Pharmacy TechnicianScope of Responsibilities: Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasksJob Summary: Assist pharmacy staff in the triaging of incoming prescriptions, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping of prescriptions to all Kinney Drugs PharmaciesJob DutiesExecutes the plan – Able to learn and understand specific aspects of the pharmacy management system, follows instructions, and completes tasks with a sense of urgency, responsible for daily department standardsQuality focused – understands and embraces the importance of our Quality Assurance Policy & Procedures; understands and embraces all patient care programs and initiativesAssist in the triaging of incoming prescriptionsProvide quality customer service to all our Kinney Drug storesPerform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment, including replenishment of necessary vials and dispensing containers, labels, and computer paper supplies. Also sweeping, sanitizing, organizing your workstationsMaintain confidentiality regarding all patient informationMust keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employmentResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsMust be able to meet daily team deadlines and team/personal hourly quotasResponsible for assisting in maintaining pharmacy inventory including the checking in of orders, transfers, and stock rotationPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducational Requirements: Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GEDPreferred: AS Degree or HigherExperience: None; On-site trainingSpecial Conditions of EmploymentDrug testInitial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoringAny and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific positionCompensation: $16.00 an hourThe final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is a multistate organization and abides by all local, state and federal regulations as it pertains to minimum wage requirements.
