Full Time Cook - Restaurant - Hospitality

$18 - $20 per hour

Job Description

Located in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center

$500 Sign on bonus after successfully completing 90 day probationary period

POSITION: Short Order Cook for busy resort and spa

TYPE: Permanent, Full-Time, Swing Shift.

SALARY: $18-20/hour + tips

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. - Must have 1 year experience as a cook.

2. - At least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.

3. - High school diploma or a GED required.

4. - Must be physical fit, able to lift 40 lbs. on an occasional basis and stand for

long periods of time.

5. - Available to work any day of the week, day or swing shift hours.

6. - Must have reliable transportation to get to work as there is no bus service.

7. - Must read and understand English.

8. - Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

9. - Must be able to pass a State/Federal Background Check to obtain sheriff's card.

10.- Employer will conduct a background check.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Will make soups and prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods. Will cook for special events and dinner parties. Will also do prep work, cleaning and stocking. Requires moving tables and setting up tables, etc. for special events.
