This Stepdown travel nurse job in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) contract at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital. This role pays $2,240 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule. In this Stepdown travel nursing job, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days (3x12)

Responsibilities

Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring

Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly

Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol

Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned

Travel Stepdown Requirements:

2+ years of recent Stepdown experience.

Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Pennsylvania and national regulatory bodies.
