Interventional Radiology RN Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology 13 weeks Day 5x8-Hour or Day 4x10-Hour 8 hours per shift Minimum of 1 year of recent experience New York license required, no pending license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Chemoembolization, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, Liver Ablation, Paracentesis, Percutaneous Hepatic Angiography, TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt), Nephrostomy, Renal Angiography, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Uterine Arterial Embolization, Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Endovascular Interventions, and Stent Graft Placement. Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. The position involves performing various gastrointestinal and genitourinary studies and procedures. Responsibilities include procedural sedation administration and monitoring. The nurse must have professional knowledge in infection prevention and managing dysrhythmias. The RN will be responsible for interpreting and managing cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients. A minimum score of 80% on a telemetry assessment is required. The assessment covers various arrhythmias and interval durations critical for patient care. No telemetry technicians are employed, so nurses independently manage telemetry strip measurements.
