Field Readiness Coach

Description & Requirements

Description

Company Description

Intercare Therapy, Inc. (ICT) provides evidence-based behavior therapy services that support individuals with autism and related disorders and their families. Our mission is to optimize the independence and quality of life of our clients and their families. We are committed to evidence-based practices, excellent customer service, and employee quality of professional experience. We strive to be the preferred service provider and referral partner to our funding sources as well as the employer of choice for behavior analysts in search of a long-term professional home.

Position Summary

At Intercare, every new hire's first weeks decide how confident they feel walking into a client's home, a center, or a classroom. As a Field Readiness Coach, you are the person who makes that first stretch feel steady. You guide new Behavior Interventionists from day one through clearance to the field — teaching, practicing, encouraging, and holding a clear standard for what field ready actually means.

Why This Role Matters

The Field Readiness Coach shapes a new hire’s first experience at Intercare. You are the person who turns uncertainty into confidence, so every employee steps into the field prepared, supported, and ready to make an impact.

What We Value

Intercare has been family-owned since 1979, and our values shape how we work every day. Four of them sit at the center of this role:

• Clinical Gold Standard: No one reaches the field before they are ready. You teach procedures the way research says they work, score honestly against the standard, and keep coaching until the skill is real.
• You Never Walk Alone: No new hire figures it out by themselves. You are the steady presence from day one through clearance, and the reason no one feels alone in their first weeks.
• Championship Team: Coaches calibrate together so every trainee gets the same standard and the same experience. What one coach knows, the team knows.
• We Keep Getting Better: Feedback runs both directions. You coach trainees toward growth and bring what you learn back to make the training program stronger.

This role is equal parts coach, facilitator, and mentor. You work alongside new hires as they move through the ICT Institute, helping them complete coursework, build skills, and demonstrate readiness through mock sessions and competencies. Your measure of success is individual: not just that each trainee was trained, but that they are genuinely prepared. We currently have two service lines at Intercare: School Services (in school care) and Behavioral Health (in home or in center care). Each Field Readiness Coach will be aligned to a service line.

This role will report to the Manager, Field Readiness.
