Caregiver PositionDoes it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist an 86 year old lady in Arlington. She uses a walker and needs assistance with ADLs to include showering, dressing, and transfers. She lives at home with her son and his wife. Build caring relationships with seniors as you help them safely improve their quality of life.Job ResponsibilitiesFollows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.Report abnormal findings in client's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Two years of experience as a Caregiver. Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA.Preferred: Hindi speakerRequirements:Authorized to work in the United StatesPass a background check and drug screenCurrent Driver's LicenseCurrent TB testReliable transportation, able to travel throughout Fairfax County and surrounding areasImmunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged
