HW Kia of West County is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Advisor to join our exceptional team. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Give great customer service to make sure customers are happy
- Welcome customers warmly and with a smile
- Show customers around the service area at the start
- Work efficiently in a busy environment
- Listen carefully to customers’ needs and problems
- Work well with technicians as a team to get the job done
- Complete the advisor part of the electronic vehicle check
- Tell customers about needed maintenance and repairs using the maintenance list
- Explain technician recommendations in simple terms customers can understand
- Give accurate estimates of time and cost for repairs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional time management skills
- Positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Basic understanding of automotive technology and terminology
- Previous advisor experience preferred; Kia experience a plus!
- Ability to work while standing for extended hours
- Ability to work some Saturdays
- Effectively use computer-based software and hardware
- Ability and willingness to change with the industry
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Clear background check and drug screen
