Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Clinical Dietitian to work 24 hours/week at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 700-bed level III trauma center located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Free Parking!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewalMoney toward continuing education eventsUp to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually Salary will be pro-rated, based on number of hours worked What You'll Do Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments/reassessments and counseling of general and complex patients and their families per the Nutrition Care Process model. Actively participate in daily multidisciplinary rounding with care team members. Provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well with interdisciplinary team. Be involved in quality improvement and research projects as opportunities arise. Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed. Provide coverage for other inpatient dietitians on weekends, holidays, and as assigned. What You Bring Registered Dietitian credentials Licensure in North Carolina Strong leadership skills, time management, and organizational skills Ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision, and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
