VP of Finance

Vice President of Finance Location: South Bend, IN ( 100% Onsite ) About the Opportunity * Join a well-established construction company as a key member of the executive leadership team. * Partner closely with the CEO to provide financial leadership and ensure the company's continued growth and profitability. * Opportunity to make a direct impact by overseeing the organization's most critical financial functions. Overview * Oversee the company's cash management, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and cash flow forecasting. * Review monthly financial statements and analyze financial performance to provide strategic recommendations to leadership. * Review Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and cost-to-complete reports to ensure accurate project financials and profitability. * Validate and oversee ESOP distributions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with plan requirements. * Partner with project managers and operations to monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance. * Utilize Spectrum ERP to manage financial reporting and construction accounting activities. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. * 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, preferably within the construction industry. * Strong experience with cash management, financial statement review, WIP reporting, cost-to-complete analysis, and project accounting. * Experience with ESOP validation and payout processes is highly preferred. * Experience with Spectrum ERP or similar construction accounting software.
