You will be both strategic and operationally grounded, requiring executive presence, strong judgment, and deep subject-matter expertise.You will work a hybrid schedule, at our Corporate Headquarters in East Aurora, NY.To qualify for the Chief Security Officer role, here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog…A bachelor’s degree in security management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Over 15 years of progressively responsible security leadership experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.Certifications: PSP, CPP, or equivalent credentials highly desirable.Experience with global regulatory frameworks.Eligibility for high-level security clearance.Must be willing to travel up to 25%.Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.As the Chief Security Officer, you will have the following responsibilities…Build the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team, including regional security heads and external vendor partners.Oversee the maturation of crisis management, incident response, and resiliency planning. Ensure robust incident command structures, training, and documentation for a wide range of global emergency scenarios.Promote a culture of safety, security awareness, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.
