Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking Board-Certified Gastroenterologists for an ongoing, high-acuity assignment in New Mexico. The facility is looking to secure a single dedicated provider or multiple providers to establish reliable, recurring block coverage for two weeks each month. Locum-to-permanent candidates are highly welcome.

1. Is provider's NM license active? - DO NOT BID PROVIDERS WHO ARE NOT LICENSED IN NM

2. Does provider have an active NM Board of Pharmacy?

3. Does provider have a DEA that can be dedicated to NM - meaning it cannot switch between weeks.

4. Please indicate which of the specific weeks listed below below that the provider can do - provider MUST be able to do a 7-14 day stretch - half weeks will not be considered.

5. Can provider do EUS procedures and ERCP - Both are a must.

6. Does provider have a 100% CLEAN background - this is required for temporary privileges.

The dates listed above particularly the July coverage represent an immediate and urgent staffing need. Our goal is to stabilize coverage during the two weeks each month that Dr. Fernandez is unavailable by securing a dedicated locum provider under a consistent contract. Establishing reliable, recurring coverage for these two weeks will ensure continuity of patient care, reduce scheduling instability, and minimize ongoing reliance on ad hoc coverage arrangement.

• Ongoing need - to replace perm provider. Will accept multiple providers (full weeks only). They need to do ERCP s and EUS procedures- Higher acuity GI need so fellowship is preferred. Board Certified is a must! 12 hours 'in house' for rounding/consulting/procedures are Mon-Sun 7a-7p. Call back is between 7p-7a. 24 hour call. Locums to perm candidates welcome. '
