PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY


Responsible for ultrasound examinations utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages, including transportation for services. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Participates in the orientation and training of new employees. Cover shifts and call as needed.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS


1. Satisfactory completion of training in ultrasound


2. RDMS certification preferred


3. BLS certification


4. Experience of varied technical skills specifically in ultrasound preferred


Wages are based on prior related experience.

Our hospital is a Level IV ER trauma center, and operates several outpatient clinics, including: surgery, orthopedic, occupational health, pain management, wound care, three primary care clinics, and two physical therapy/sports rehabilitation clinics in Arcata and Willow Creek. We are proud to boast a 2-acre on-site farm that provides our cafeteria with produce for serving patients and staff.
