Sonographer

Diagnostic Sonographer (RDMS/RVT) Location: Wichita, KS Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Responsibilities Perform high-quality obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound examinations Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment according to infection control and patient safety standards Review patient medical history and verify examination orders Explain procedures and provide exceptional patient care and support Obtain accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretation Document preliminary findings and communicate significant findings to physicians as appropriate Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout examinations Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure operational readiness Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education activities Qualifications RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) Current CPR Certification Valid Driver's License Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and EMR systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in OB/GYN ultrasound Experience working in an outpatient medical practice Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist patients throughout the workday Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to perform repetitive scanning motions while utilizing proper ergonomic techniques Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Flexible scheduling options Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Employer health insurance contribution Profit sharing plan Supportive and collaborative work environment Continuing education opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
