CMM Quality Inspector - Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: Winsted, CT Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Pay: $20-$30/hr + 15% Shift Differential We are seeking an experienced CMM Quality Inspector to support precision aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for performing first article, in-process, and final inspections on tight-tolerance machined components while ensuring compliance with customer and quality requirements. Responsibilities- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Operate CMM equipment and inspection software
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
- Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparators
- Document inspection results and quality records
- Identify non-conforming material and support corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards
- 2+ years of quality inspection or CMM inspection experience
- Experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail
