Overview

Experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurses are needed for a leading cardiac surgical team in Kissimmee, Florida. This role offers the chance to work with advanced open-heart procedures in a collaborative, high-acuity environment. Responsibilities

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care during open-heart and cardiovascular surgeries.
• Scrub, circulate, and assist in cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and respond rapidly to changes in condition.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to all infection prevention standards.
• Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment required for complex cardiac procedures.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in on-call rotation (one weekday per week and one weekend per month, or as needed).
• Support department quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR or Open Heart RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• PALS certification.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• CNOR certification.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $31.84 to $46.26/hr (commensurate with experience) Differentials & Incentives:

• On-Call Pay: $4.00/hr
• Night Differential: +$4.50/hr
• Weekend Differential: +$1.50/hr
• National Certification Differential: +$1.50/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)
• Relocation Assistance: Available, case-by-case
