Commercial Plumber

Skillforceis seeking skilled Commercial Plumbers for service and maintenance work in the Charlottesville and Richmond area. This is a full-time, field-based opportunity supporting with day-to-day plumbing repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.


Pay and Schedule:

• Pay: up to $35 per hour, depending on experience and license level
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Occasional overtime may be requested based on needs

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair work on commercial plumbing systems across multiple occupied buildings
• Install, repair, and replace copper pipe, PVC, CPVC, and related plumbing materials
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues including fixture malfunctions, leaks, drain blockages, and water distribution problems
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, water fountains, and related equipment
• Maintain compliance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC)
• Complete work orders and communicate status with the on-site facilities maintenance team
• Follow all OSHA safety protocols and site-specific safety requirements
• Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the team

• 3+ years of recent commercial plumbing service and repair experience
• Proficiency with copper, PVC, and CPVC pipe systems
• Experience working in occupied commercial or institutional buildings
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work legally in the United States and pass any job-related background or drug screening consistent with applicable laws
