Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Hybrid (Downtown Columbus)Diversified Systems is searching for a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join the IT Application Development team. This role requires an individual who can build from the ground up by designing, establishing, and operationalizing new Marketing Cloud Engagement capabilities, frameworks, and workflows with minimal existing structure. The selected consultant will serve as the technical subject matter expert for all Salesforce Marketing Cloud initiatives within the organization.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud utilizing Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder.Lead end-to-end delivery, including requirements review, solution build, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.Develop personalized content using AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS, and dynamic data extensions.Set up and configure data models.Manage Marketing Cloud environments, including configuration, user roles, security, subscriber models, and data governance standards.Manage preference centers, subscription management, and regulatory compliance requirements including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.Configure surveys through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including survey journeys, integration with survey tools, response capture, and trigger-based follow-up actions.Partner with business stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions using Marketing Cloud.Create and maintain technical documentation for journeys, data integrations, and automation processes.Mentor junior Salesforce developers and promote best practices in journey development and data connectivity.Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases, features, and best practices to continuously improve solutions.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.5 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience required.Proven ability to create and optimize customer journeys using Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio required.Strong proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, and CSS required.Proven experience working in production environments with high-volume campaigns required.Deep knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs required.Experience with integrations involving Marketing Cloud, including Marketing Cloud Connect and Data Cloud required.Solid understanding of data-driven marketing, personalization, and segmentation strategies required.Excellent communication and collaboration skills required.Highly Desired Skills:Solid understanding of Marketing Cloud data models, including Data Extensions, Send Logs, Data Views, and Contact Builder highly desired.Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) for unified profiles, identity resolution, segmentation, and real-time activation highly desired.Active Salesforce certifications such as Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or Data Cloud Consultant highly desired.Experience with Salesforce CRM or other marketing technology ecosystem tools highly desired.Working knowledge of multi-cloud architecture and enterprise integrations highly desired.About Diversified Systems Founded in 1990, Diversified Systems is an award-winning Technology Services corporation providing all levels of IT project consulting services nationwide.
