Best Choice Plumbing & HVAC is hiring an experienced Plumbing Estimator to quote plumbing projects ranging from service-level repairs and replacements to larger commercial and high-end residential opportunities.

This role is a strong fit for someone who understands plumbing systems, can inspect job conditions properly, build accurate scopes of work, communicate clearly with customers, and price work with discipline.

We are looking for someone who can handle more than basic estimates. The right candidate should be comfortable with larger opportunities, professional customers, property managers, commercial clients, and high-end residential work where accuracy, communication, and follow-up matter.

Who This Role Is For

This role is a good fit if you:

• Have plumbing, estimating, or plumbing sales experience
• Understand how to inspect plumbing conditions and build a clear scope
• Can explain options to customers without being pushy
• Are comfortable quoting larger jobs and higher-end clients
• Follow up consistently on open estimates
• Can work with service techs, installers, managers, and office staff
• Understand that pricing discipline and documentation matter
• Are comfortable using Service Titan or similar proposal software

This is not a good fit for someone who guesses pricing, skips documentation, avoids follow-up, or struggles to communicate professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers for plumbing estimates and project opportunities
• Inspect job conditions and gather accurate information
• Build clear scopes of work for repairs, replacements, and larger projects
• Quote plumbing work including water heaters, water services, sewer lines, repipes, fixtures, drains, and related projects
• Present options clearly and professionally to customers
• Follow up on open estimates and unsold opportunities
• Coordinate with service technicians, installers, managers, and dispatch
• Review photos, notes, measurements, and job details before pricing
• Maintain pricing discipline and protect gross margin
• Use Service Titan or similar proposal/CRM tools
• Communicate project details clearly for smooth hand-off to install or production teams

Requirements

• Plumbing, estimating, plumbing sales, or field service experience
• Strong technical understanding of plumbing systems
• Ability to inspect jobs and build accurate scopes of work
• Professional customer communication
• Strong follow-up habits
• Ability to price work accurately and consistently
• Comfortable with larger projects and high-end customers
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, or proposal tools

Preferred Experience

• Service Titan experience
• Residential and light commercial plumbing experience
• Sewer, water service, water heater, re-pipe, and drain project estimating
• Experience with high-end residential clients or property managers
• Comfort presenting multiple options to customers
• Experience working with technicians and install teams
• Background as a plumber, plumbing supervisor, comfort advisor, or home service estimator
