Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• At least 1 year of previous PT experience
• 24 months of current Physical Therapist / PT experience
• Outpatient experience
• EPIC experience
• Driver's License
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross BLS

Assignment Details

• Start time: 0800
• Traveler will work 4 days in the outpatient clinic and 1 day each week in acute care.
• May be asked to work random weekend coverage if willing to help with acute care.
• Optional on-call weekend coverage includes Saturday 0700-1200 and Sunday 0700-1100.
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Location Highlights

Fort Dodge offers access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions in north-central Iowa. Brushy Creek State Recreation Area is about 20 minutes from Fort Dodge and includes a 690-acre lake with boating, fishing, and multiuse trails. Dolliver Memorial State Park is about 30 minutes away near Lehigh and features sandstone bluffs, hiking trails, and views along the Des Moines River. Downtown Fort Dodge includes the Blanden Memorial Art Museum and the Fort Museum and Frontier Village, while Des Moines is about 90 miles south for additional dining, shopping, and airport access.
