Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant The role of staff accountant involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. Interaction with vendors on a daily basis. Responsibilities Keep track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Maintain historical records with accuracy in accounting/ bookkeeping Pay vendors and ensure payments are received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports Continue to improve the accounting processes Additional duties assigned by management as necessary Experience in Quickbooks a must Qualifications And Requirements 2-3 years of prior accounts payable/ receivables experience Degree in accounting preferred Experience working in transportation industry a plus Professional demeanor Proficiency at Microsoft Excel and Word Must have working experience with Quickbooks Ability to multi-task under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills Apply Now #J-18808-Ljbffr Logos Logistics, Inc.
