Career advancement opportunities Job Details Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of contract administration, including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and compliance. Review, interpret, and manage contractual obligations to ensure that the best interests of the company are protected. Develop and implement contract management procedures and control mechanisms for compliance with federal and state laws. Coordinate with project managers and finance department to ensure that contracts are accurately costed and budgeted. Assist in the development of bids and proposals, ensuring that all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or negotiated terms. Identify potential risks in contractual areas and provide guidance for risk mitigation. Maintain a comprehensive and organized system of all contract documentation and correspondence. Conduct contract closeout activities including documentation, negotiation, and resolution of claims and disputes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the construction industry. Extensive knowledge of federal and state contracts, including understanding of laws and regulations applicable to the construction industry. Proven ability to negotiate, manage, and close complex contracts. Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
