Environmental Service Aide

Performs general and aseptic cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms Uses appropriate cleaning supplies and chemicals according to departmental procedures Cleans and prepares patient rooms, beds, stretchers, and other assigned areas Scrubs, mops, and buffs floors Cleans sinks in kitchen and dining area and removes trash from areas Maintains assigned area in a neat, clean, and sanitary condition Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred Three to six months of experience in housekeeping in either a hospital or institutional setting preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in general and aseptic cleaning practices, ensuring patient rooms and assigned areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
