Essential Duties and Responsibilities Achieve and/or maintain relevant professional certifications and continue professional development. Maintain usable and timely documentation. Act as a technical resource, mentoring and supporting other teams as needed. Identify, research, document, and coordinate the execution of security initiatives with the team. Configure, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure software and hardware. Monitor for and respond to irregular behavior and determine appropriate security controls. Ensure the security of Youth Villages’ networks using intrusion detection, firewall configuration, anti-malware protection, and vulnerability assessment. Plan and implement changes to improve the security posture of the organization. Educate and train staff on security best practices. Manage and govern the secure lifecycle of enterprise hardware, software, data, identities, and application development. Coordinate with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Current Security+ or equivalent certifications. 3+ years of experience in at least 2 of the 8 CISSP domains: Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture and Engineering, Communication and Network Security, IAM (Identity and Access Management), Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, Software Development. Experience configuring, hardening, troubleshooting and managing modern versions of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Fortinet and Meraki firewalls, virtualized environments, SIEM, PAM, MDR, email security gateways, backup and disaster recovery solutions. Preferred Experience Managing Apple computers through MDM solutions such as JAMF. Implementing Secure Software Development Lifecycle. Web development. Physical Demands Frequently remains in a stationary position for periods of time. Regularly needs to move throughout the office to access file cabinets and office machinery. Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as calculator, copy machines, and printer.
