Lead Database Administrator

Job Description Strong expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and Exadata systems. Familiarity with cloud-native databases (e.g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL). Knowledge of big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark), though not required. Proficient with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash). Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Skills and Requirements 8-10 years of experience in IT with a focus on relational database management and administration. 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a database or platform engineering function. Experience managing databases in both on-premise and cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS) environments. Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate. Oracle Database Certified Professional (OCP). AWS/Azure Cloud certifications. Working Conditions Hybrid work environment with occasional on-site collaboration. Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Ability to support after-hours deployments or incident response as needed.
