Manual Labor Galena, KS, US Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 hourly Quality Inspector is responsible for examining materials for quality, defects, and workmanship. Responsibilities Perform both in-process and/or final inspections on wire and cable harnesses in accordance with Celltron documented quality plan and other referenced accept/reject criteria. Identify and recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution. Identify and provide disposition of nonconforming material per procedure. Provide traceability of product, material and calibration of products. Maintain required certifications: IPC J-STD-001 Solder, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Acceptability. Accurately record results of inspection and testing. Perform additional Quality department duties as assigned. Report directly to the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager. Skills / Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with basic inspection tools (calipers, scales/rulers, microscopes, form boards, protractor). Basic knowledge and understanding of how to read blueprints. Strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations and ability to perform measurement conversions. Basic computer skills. Prior cable building experience or manufacturing experience. Able to manage time and attendance to meet deadlines or production goals. A willingness to work positively as part of a team to accomplish individual and team goals.
