Shift: 5x8s, 8:30a-5p. Monday - Friday

Call Requirements: N/A

Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday with a day off during the week if needed

RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a mandatory float facility, all resources are required to float at the facilitys discretion.

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Years of experience REQ: 2+ Years of experience preferred

MA Associate's Degree or MA Diploma AND MA Certification

BLS OR 5 years of MA experience + MA Certification

Certs REQ: BLS

Must have a MA certification from the below:

• American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• National Health Career Association (NHA)
• American Registry of Medical Assistant (ARMA)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
• Locals accepted: Yes - locals only. Must live within 75 miles of the facility.

Pending License accepted: No

Special Requirements: Adult and PEDS experience.

Parking Cost: Limited parking at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). CCH badge required for entry. (A shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Stroger and JTDC). Alternative options - Stroger Hospital Parking Garage or Metered Street Parking. Public Transit highly recommended.
