Receiver, Depot

OverviewWorking under direct supervision of the Depot Supervisor, the Depot Receiver is responsible for unloading delivery trucks, and confirming the items meet the terms and condition of their return authorization. The Depot Receiver efficiently and accurately sorts, verifies and records the correct quantity of inbound products according to company policies and department procedures. The Depot Receiver works closely with TeamNW, LCS, and Account Managers to resolve receiving problems. Selects the correct PO for inbound products.Records the correct quantity to be received.Meets receiving deadlines.Unloads and inspects product to confirm it meets the terms and condition of its return authorization.Removes all packing materials from the cartons of inbound freight prior to receipt of product, place materials into appropriate recycling containers.Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.RequirementsDegree Requirements: High School or equivalency.Work experience: Minimum 3 years' work experience.Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet.Attention to detail in processing, keying, and handling inbound product.Basic math aptitude.Working knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.Working knowledge of hazardous materials identification.Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to take on additional tasks.Cautious and deliberate actions resulting in safe performance.Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process and communication with a "live person."SummaryIndustry: Information Technology and ServicesJob Family: Distribution / LogisticsLevel: Full Time
