JANITOR (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Maintains building cleanliness and order. Performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls, glass, and rubbish removal. Job Details Location: Nestle - 150 Oak Grove, Mount Sterling, KY 40353 Schedule: Full-time schedule. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview. Requirement: At least 1 year of experience. Pay: $15.43 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures. Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct position. Cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment, sanitizes all surfaces, follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure. Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task. Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor. Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines. Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refines floors; shampoos carpet. Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others. Performs other duties as assigned.
