Safety Coordinator-DBPIT

Divisional Safety Coordinator responsible for all aspects of division safety performance, reporting, and adherence. Responsibilities Lead and support TCOS initiatives within the division Ensure safety compliance with federal, state and local regulations Perform corporate, OSHA, health, and safety recordkeeping and reporting Coordinate, conduct, and track safety trainings Participate in new-hire orientation and training Prepare and distribute safety alerts Perform safety audits and communicate results Conduct reviews and support implementation of the Safety Calendar, SDI policies, and programs Develop JSA, LOTOTO, SOP, and risk assessments Investigate, review, and follow up on incidents Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in safety or a safety-related field and/or 2-yrs or more experience in a safety function Excellent computer skills preferably in Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook Ability to skillfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects Highly effective communication skills Travel requirements – intercompany, education, & benchmarking First Aid/CPR/AED/Fall Protection Competent Person Certified Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. #J-18808-Ljbffr Steel Dynamics, Inc.
