Program Project Supervisor (Contract Title: Project Engineer)

Job Description Amentum is seeking a Project Supervisor to support daily operations and maintenance activities for a client site in Pearl River, NY. The role involves coordinating projects, managing work prioritization, communicating with clients and internal stakeholders, and providing leadership for safety and quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations including ongoing renovations, engineering and design reviews, and small project planning. Coordinate resources, service providers, vendors, subcontractors, parts, materials, tools, and equipment. Plan and manage projects, develop job plans, define materials and crafts, and establish safe and efficient work control plans. Maintain consistent communication with management, clients, and the Science Line, addressing key issues and presenting action plans. Identify project problems or opportunities, conduct analysis, develop alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions. Support building operations and maintenance teams through strategy development, process improvement, and waste elimination. Sustain low operating costs through training and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide safety leadership, ensuring accident‑free workplace via JHA, THA, LOTO, hot work, and other safety programs. Coordinate new project, equipment, and service needs, labor estimates, quotations, sourcing, process improvements, and vendor management. Review new facility designs, plans, concerns, and alternatives; contribute to commissioning of new assets. Create punch lists, manage commissioning issues, and produce PM schedules for new assets. Work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating professionalism, cultural awareness, and flexibility. Take initiative to resolve issues, prioritize tasks, and remain flexible under changing priorities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities/Management, Maintenance Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial or production maintenance, with 5 years of progressive experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, biomedical, or research and development facility maintenance. Medical evaluation and fit test for respirators; ability to obtain security access badge at client location. Strong reading comprehension and computer fluency (Microsoft product line). Valid driver’s license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. United States citizenship or permanent residency; this position does not sponsor work authorization. Physical ability to walk diverse work environments, work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions, and cope with job stressors. Required personal protective equipment: steel‑toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other PPE as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a GMP or similarly regulated environment (hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses). Proficiency with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Predictive maintenance, life‑cycle studies, reliability maintenance programs, incident reports, and root cause analysis experience. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $130,000–$145,000 annually.
