Medical Office Scheduler

- Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments
- Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care
- Obtain referral/auths for upcoming appointments
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests
- Collect insurance information and patient personal data
- Communicates with both new and established patients to schedule office appointments, according to each physician's specified protocol.

- Obtains and processes patient's demographic and insurance information into system with completeness and accuracy.
- Responsible for running reports daily to confirm that all patients are accurately scheduled.
- Copies, prints, and files introductory paperwork for all new patients prior to their appointments.
- Knowledge with using Microsoft office to aces email and voice message
eClinical experience is a plus!
