Trusts & Estates ParalegalLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal for a full-service business law firm in Chicago at their headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional with experience in probate administration, estate planning, trust administration, fiduciary matters, and related real estate and corporate transactions.The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative legal environment and possess strong organizational, communication, and case management skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProbate & Estate AdministrationAssist attorneys with probate estate administration from inception through closing.Prepare and file probate pleadings, petitions, inventories, accountings, notices, and related court documents.Coordinate with courts, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, financial institutions, accountants, and third parties.Monitor probate deadlines and court schedules.Gather, organize, and analyze estate asset information.Trust AdministrationAssist with the administration of revocable and irrevocable trusts.Prepare trust funding and asset transfer documentation.Coordinate distributions to beneficiaries.Maintain trust records and fiduciary accountings.Communicate with trustees and beneficiaries regarding trust administration matters.General Paralegal SupportMaintain case files, calendars, and docketing systems.Draft correspondence and legal documents.Conduct legal and factual research.Support attorneys with special projects and client matters.Assist with estate planning matters involving corporate and real estate assets.Qualifications3+ years of Trusts & Estates Paralegal experience.Experience handling probate and estate administration matters.Strong knowledge of trust administration and fiduciary accountings.Experience preparing probate court filings and related documentation.Familiarity with Illinois probate procedures and electronic court filing systems.Understanding of corporate and real estate matters related to estate planning.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or Bachelor's degree preferred.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary ranging from $110,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.Hybrid work schedule.Health, dental, vision, and 401(k).Paid time off and paid holidays.Professional development and growth opportunities.Bonus eligibility based on performance.Apply TodayIf you are an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal, Probate Paralegal, or Estate Administration Paralegal seeking a new opportunity in the Chicago legal market, we encourage you to apply.
