PhD Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical) for AI Training

Apply advanced engineering expertise to create rigorous, real-world inputs that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This remote contract opportunity centers on producing precise, well-reasoned engineering work across electrical, mechanical, or chemical disciplines. Prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities

• Write authoritative responses to complex engineering prompts within your area of expertise.
• Review and interpret scientific literature to provide accurate, current context.
• Design and document realistic experimental scenarios grounded in advanced engineering principles.
• Analyze data and interpret results for precise AI training datasets.
• Use advanced calculus and quantitative methods to solve engineering problems.
• Ensure submissions are clear, accurate, complete, and aligned with provided guidelines.
• Work with project coordinators to refine the quality of prompt responses when needed.

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• Demonstrated capability in calculus, data analysis and interpretation, research methodology, experimental design, and literature review.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong ability to synthesize scientific knowledge from literature.
• A detail-oriented approach and commitment to producing highly accurate, complete deliverables.
• Experience with, or interest in, AI, machine learning, or technology-driven projects is beneficial but not required.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $80 to $90 per hour.
