Description: Responsible for independently performing, interpreting, and correlating clinical laboratory tests to assist physician diagnosis and treatment. Performs testing according to policies and procedures. Performs clinical laboratory testing including high complexity and moderate complexity. Evaluates specimens to meet pre-analytical requirements. Communicates information, including critical test results and interpretation of testing. Monitors the status of workflow. Ensures quality management of testing. Performs quality control, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting. Maintains reagent and supply inventory levels. Documents work performed and corrective actions. Trains new employees and students.
