Inventory Control Clerk

At American Concrete we manufacture prestressed precast concrete pieces for the rail roads and commercial concrete projects. We are searching for a purchaser with a keen eye for detail to buy various goods for our company. The purchaser's duties will include pricing products, material, and services, negotiating the best deals, inventory of raw materials, tracking material, and inspecting deliveries. The outstanding purchaser can juggle multiple responsibilities at once and make important decisions in our fast-paced environment! Purchaser Responsibilities Purchase general and specialized materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for manufacturing precast concrete components Creating purchase orders as well receiving materials in Sage ERP system for invoicing purposes Ability to forecast and ensure materials are in stock for upcoming projects Inspecting purchased products and reporting any issues in a timely manner Tracking material using Sage ERP system Running reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses with Sage software Monitoring inventory daily Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal Periodically meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best deals Requirements High school diploma Experience using Sage x3 system Practical experience with an ERP system Strong analytical skills Blueprint reading a plus Sound research and networking skills Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Experience in the construction industry is beneficial Ability to work in indoor/outdoor setting Benefits Profit Sharing Competitive Compensation & Benefit Package 401K with Match Boot Allowance Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check, Reference Check & Employment Verification are all part of our hiring process. #J-18808-Ljbffr American Concrete Products
