Quality Inspector

Job Position: Quality Inspector

Shift: 2nd 2:30pm-11pm - (Must train on 1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $21.50/hr


Location: Elk Grove Village,IL60007

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will ensure products meet quality standards before shipment by performing inspections, verifying measurements, reviewing blueprints, and supporting quality documentation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and product specifications
• Inspect and measure materials/products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, and tape measures
• Monitor production processes and recommend adjustments when needed
• Accept/reject finished goods and quarantine non-conforming materials
• Complete and maintain quality documentation (NMRs, IDNs, ECRs, RGAs, FAIR, PPAP, Final Inspection reports)
• Communicate inspection findings with Production and Quality teams
• Support calibration activities and maintain inspection records

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of Quality Inspector experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience required/preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and convert fractions to decimals
• Experience using measuring tools and reading blueprints
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
