Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all quality programs, policies, initiatives and products meet the customer's quality standards. They work in conjunction with others in the Quality Department to reduce the number of defects and improve all levels of quality.

Perform detailed quality inspections of products and their components at different stages of production. (Machining, Forming, Welding, Assembly)

Performs and documents visual and dimensional inspection on products to determine conformance with customer requirements, technical specifications, manufacturing drawings, and applicable standards

Measure parts with the CMM, Romer, Optical Comparator

Report non-conforming parts to the QA Manager and/or the Supervisors

Utilize precision measuring equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Etc.)

Work with the scheduling & planning departments to assist in expediting of parts

Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel) to edit/create reports.

Required) 2+ years previous experience in a Quality Assurance position

• Required) High School diploma or GED
• Preferred) Welding certification(s)

Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

May involve repetitive tasks and physical activity throughout the shift.

Frequent bending, reaching, and manual handling of sheet metal materials.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
