Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,892 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Phoenix, Arizona. Position Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Key Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, observe during procedures, and report abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients providing reassurance and support. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy required to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. Valid BLS and ACLS certifications. ARRT (R) national certification and state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Travel Details Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
