The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.Key Responsibilities:Delegates and supervises work performed by staffEstablishes and manages work schedules. Develops plans (work scope, schedule, resource requirements, and so forth) for maintenance activity execution required to meet system demands and business objectives.Supervises, mentors, develops, evaluates, and coaches staff, including maintenance technicians and reliability engineersImplements performance improvement plans as neededProvides input to and manages departmental budget. Reviews expenses and implements cost controls to ensure budget is not exceededObtains and evaluates bids from vendorsOversees for quality and safety of work and timely completion of assigned contractInterprets company policies to staff and enforces safety regulationSupplies input to department policies and processesParticipates on special projects as neededMonitors production continuously and prepares reports for management. Takes prompt action to correct deficienciesResponsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management levelResponsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicableResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and proceduresPerforms other duties assigned as neededQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree is requiredExperience and Skills:Required: Minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering is required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management level role is preferred.Previous experience working in a regulated industry, such as Medical Device is preferred.Demonstrated leadership qualities including confidence, transparency, integrity, innovation, passion, patience and tenacity.Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills.Demonstrated strong computer skills, such as the use of Microsoft Office, Minitab, and databases.Demonstrates strong organizational and project management skillsResults orientedDemonstrated positive interpersonal skills and professional interactions with coworkers.Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.Strong blueprint reading abilities.Must be willing to support all production shifts.Problem solving methodology hands on experience.Preferred:Experience with the Maximo Asset Management platformOther:English Fluency is requiredFor more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness, career and life journey, please visit .]Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
