Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our thriving team of imaging professionals committed to delivering outstanding care. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with compassion
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring practitioners to ensure high-quality diagnostic outputs
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment effectively, reporting any malfunctions without hesitation
- Thoroughly document procedures and ensure patient records are updated within the electronic medical system
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
Certifications Required
- Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
