Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring clear communication and reassurance throughout each procedure
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain patient records within an electronic medical system
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
